Very interesting, I give props to the man with loud noises and a machete in his bloody glove. I can’t wait to use this on my brother… my sister couldn’t handle it. And, I have a theory; while it is true that if you show a pop-up picture of “It” (great movie, btw), they’ll be startled, but okay, fictional fear extremities will work in certain situations. For example, Jason maybe scary, but put a guy in a room with zombie ninja cyborgs popping up, or some other ridiculous scheme, they are going to, literally, piss themselves. Chucky is freaky, but have a gunshot go off, and a body dragged away by a giant bat/shark/wolf thing and start running after you when the intestines are torn out, the guy’s gonna pass out. So, in reality, I concur/contradict your theory. I appreciate it, but if you don’t mind, I think I’ll stick to my tactics of startle then scare then show no f**king mercy. My respects as always,

you take him into a dark room and you have all the light off in the holl house and as you go in that dark room you leave the door crack a littel then ell him to cloes his eyes and then you make music come on by it self and you bretend you r scared and you make littel laughing kid sounds and then you scream and bretend your getting smacked by it and then you run out of the sreaming and hide and leave like fake blood hand prents and scrape marks on the floor and then he will be scared as heck

Holy crap! I did the best scare ever! I had some friends come over to watch a scary movie, so I planned a little trick on them. There were like 5 of us. I had two more friends to come over to make the scare. I told them that I was going to the store because I forgot to buy something, meanwhile my two other friends screwed with them knocking chairs over, opening doors. I actually went for a professional makeup artist that made me a very realistic zombie face paint, along with some scary lookin contact lenses. So I came back and snuck from the backdoor inside, and gave my friend a signal, they hit a carbage can with a baseball bat and that got everyone startled, and then I silently walked right behind them without them noticing and then I put my hand on one of the girls shoulder (i knew she would scream cause he gets scared easy). So she turned around and saw my zombie face paint. She screamed and everyone panic’d, they tried to run out of the doors wich I had locked from outside, meanwhile my friends made some scary loud noises too. They we’re so scared that I felt bad for them . Good thing nobody peed them selves

Just wanted to add, there’s also something scary about someone standing in the dark where they’re not supposed to. For example, if there was some dark, anonymous person in your bedroom and you have no idea wh oit is, would you freak out? Hide in dark places that people have to pass, usually in places they’re new to. Ever get that slight prickling feeling in the back of your neck when you’re in someone elses house and you turn the light off and leave? So you hide, they see you in their peripheral vision, and you just standing there or moving closer scares the shit out of them. If you do it right, they go into type 2 terror. It’s fun

Oh yes, my friends did that once in a slumber party. Two friends ganged up on another, and they started talking about bloody mary, whom they’re all terrified of, and then they went to bed. They were sleeping in different rooms, so one of the scarers hid under the victim’s bed, and when she came in, about to get in bed, my friend reached out under the bed and grabbed her ankle, scaring the absolute s*** out of her
